Suncrest College welcomes applications for an Adult Education Teacher. Classes will be delivered via synchronous virtual/online instruction. This is a term position running from January 13, 2026 to May 28, 2026 (for 504 hours/84 days).
The Opportunity:
This position is primarily responsible for providing instruction of Adult Basic Education 12 as prescribed in course curricula by the Ministry of Education, specifically: ELA A30, ELA B30, Native Studies 30, and a another elective (TBD). Classes will be delivered via synchronous virtual/online instruction.
Requirements:
- The minimum educational qualification for this position is a four-year Bachelor of Education Degree, with a Professional A Teaching Certificate
- Registered or eligible to register with the Saskatchewan Professional Teachers Regulatory Board.
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with previous instructional experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
