We are looking for a driven and detail-focused Storm Supervisor to support our seasonal operations from May 15th to October 31st. They will be responsible for maintaining high standards in claims processing while leading, mentoring, and supporting teams of adjusters throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field inspections to assess hail damage in accordance with NCIS and MHI standards.
- Ensure accurate interpretation, entry, and documentation of all claim information.
- Assist adjusters when claimants dispute counts, procedures, or explanations prior to a re-inspection request.
- Conduct audits of adjusters work at least once per storm and complete/manage re-inspections, investigations, late claims, and deferrals as assigned by Head Office.
- Train, mentor, and support adjuster trainees.
- Regularly evaluate adjuster performance.
- Ensure field staff maintain professional conduct and keep all appointments with claimants.
- Assign and dispatch claims to adjusters.
- Contact claimants selected for storm surveys and communicate survey timelines to adjusters within the territory.
- Coordinate hotel accommodations for team members, ensuring proximity to storm and work areas.
- Approve adjusters timecards.
- Demonstrate strong technology skills, including proficiency with computers, GPS tracking, smart devices, and related software.
Requirements:
- Open availability required for July and August.
- Willing and able to work away from home for stretches of at least 10 consecutive days.
- Valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle suitable for fieldwork.
- Strong understanding of crop hail adjusting procedures and crop staging.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Proficient with tablets, GPS, and adjusting software.
