The City of Swift Current is looking for fun and energetic individuals who enjoy working with children and youth. Recreation Programmers are responsible for delivering various recreation programs. They are required for programs such as the Active Play after school program on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., as well as Welcome to Recreation, Nature Play and Fun Day programs. Casual Recreation Programmers work from three (3) to twelve (12) hours per week, with programs running from September to June. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in a career working with children and youth!

Required Qualifications
- Available for evening and weekend work, as required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, co-workers and volunteers.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Motor Vehicle Operators License.
- Completion of Respect Group Training and a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check will be required upon hire.
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Previous experience coaching or working with children and youth.
- Previous program planning and implementation experience.
