Grain Buyer  Role Details
Competitive base salary: $80,000 -$90,000* (based on experience)
Bonus structure & comprehensive RBC benefits
Travel allowance & 3 weeks vacation
Hybrid schedule (MonFri)

Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with producers & sellers
Negotiate and purchase grain (lentils, peas, chickpeas, specialty crops)
Maintain partnerships with farmers, brokers & processors
Track grades, prices, volumes & inventory
Purchase correct grades for contracts
Coordinate timely deliveries
Send daily bid/offer reports & weekly crop updates

Qualifications
Degree in Ag-Business or related (preferred)
2+ years in grain buying/procurement
Solid grower/elevator network
Contract management experience
Strong communication & negotiation skills
Proficient in Excel/Word/Outlook
