KIT Recruitment is proud to continue our partnership with a leading agricultural client, currently hiring a Plant Operator in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

The Plant Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery used in the cleaning, handling, and processing of pulses and other grain products. This includes operating and maintaining equipment, monitoring grain quality, and supporting smooth loading and unloading of materials.

MondayFriday (two shifts: 7:003:30 or 3:0011:30)
Competitive hourly wage - Up to $25*

Plant Operator  Responsibilities
Operate grain elevators, conveyors, dryers, and milling equipment
Adjust grain flow through processing stages
Receive raw grain shipments and complete accurate documentation
Load processed grain onto trucks or railcars per specifications
Unload raw grain and store in appropriate bins
Inspect grains for quality, cleanliness, and contaminants
Maintain grain inventory, processing, and maintenance records
Complete production reports and logs

Plant Operator  Qualifications
Experience operating cleaning or processing machinery in a grain facility or terminal
Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of agricultural safety regulations and compliance
Technical aptitude with grain handling equipment and operational systems
Certification in grain handling or cleaning is an asset
