The Role
Cameco's environmental systems and climate change team within the corporate safety, health, environment, quality and regulatory relations department is responsible for developing and delivering Camecos overarching climate change strategy to support the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, proactive management of climate-related risks and opportunities relevant to our operations and value chain, and managing common systems for site based environmental management programs. The team also supports the organization in developing and delivering annual sustainability reports for regulators, customers, investors, and other stakeholders based on existing requirements and evolving national and global trends.

In this role, you will:
-Lead the analysis and interpretation of existing and new climate and sustainability voluntary and regulatory reporting requirements and compile insights into potential organizational impacts to develop recommendations for Cameco.  
-Support the ongoing use and management of Camecos Environmental Quality Information System (EQuIS) database through issue resolution, data input processes, dashboard maintenance, and collaboration with users.
-Support implementation of Camecos EQuIS database and processes in remaining operations.
-Coordinate the collection, verification, and reporting of Camecos annual sustainability report data.  
-Analyze and interpret collected data to identify opportunities to continuously improve Camecos environmental performance as well as provide internal and external reporting based on trends and changing standards.
-Support the collection and reporting of sustainability and climate information as requested by external stakeholders.
