Job Posting: Globe Walk Program Coordinator -Supports older adults (55+)
Reports to: Executive Director/Globe Walk Committee Chair
Location: Saskatoon
Position Type:  Contract position (Dec- June)
Job Purpose: Globe Walk addresses the needs of older adults by promoting physical activity, fostering social connections, and providing a dynamic and fun way for them to stay active and engaged during the winter.
Key Responsibilities
    Facilitate Monthly Activities: Plan, coordinate, and deliver monthly program sessions and activities for participants.
    Track and Record Distances: Monitor, document, and report distance-based goals or milestones as required by the program.
    Communicate with Participants: Maintain regular communication to provide updates, answer questions, and support participant engagement.
    Attend Meetings: Participate in internal and external meetings to share updates, gather information, and support program alignment.
    Deliver Presentations: Prepare and present program information to stakeholders, partners, and community groups as needed.
    Promote Events: Support event marketing through outreach, communication, and coordination with partners and participants.
    Motivate Teams: Encourage and inspire participant teams to meet goals, stay engaged, and build community connections.
    Organize Events: Plan and execute both in-person and virtual events, ensuring smooth logistics and positive participant experiences.
    Assist with Evaluations: Contribute to data collection, feedback gathering, and evaluation activities to support program improvement and reporting.
    Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Certifications
    Computer literacy: Microsoft Office, internet, Canva, Survey Monkey, Excel
    Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
    Vulnerable sector check and criminal record clearance.
Key Skills and Competencies
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    Experience planning events
    Strong computer skills
