Job Description: Reporting jointly to the Unit Manager, and the Manager, Regina Campus-College of Medicine the Medical Nurse Teaching Coordinator (MNTC) is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority in this front line education leadership role. The MNT Coordinator facilitates a high quality of patient care services through the promotion of an excellent learning experience for both undergraduate and postgraduate medical learners and programs.

Education
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Requires or in progress towards a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
Experience
- Requires a minimum of three (3) years experience related to the clinical area within the past five (5) years, and one (1) year previous experience in adult education.
- Requires experience in:
. Program/resource development related to needs assessment, planning, program design, implementation, and evaluation
. Teaching adults, facilitation skills, and leading group activities
- Experience in research activities, quality monitoring and evaluation.
Licenses
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Other Education and Training
- Certification in a medical specialty would be an asset
