Duties
Develop and execute agronomic programs that promote optimal turf health Oversee directives
and playability
Oversee landscape design, planting, and upkeep of all facility grounds, including the clubhouse, parking lots, and surrounding areas
Coordinate timeline to ensure minimal disruption to daily operations and member experience
Collaborate with architects, contractors, Management, and the Board of Directors on construction updates
Order supplies, parts, and materials as needed to maintain operations
Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective measures when necessary
Attend Board meetings as required to provide updates and recommendations
Core Competencies
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Understanding of agronomy, irrigation
Education
A diploma or degree in Turfgrass Management (or a related field like agronomy, horticulture, or plant science)
WHMIS, OH&S, First Aid/CPR, and Fertilizer Application certifications
Industry Experience: a minimum of 3-5 years as an assistant superintendent
