Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized Logistics & Accounting Coordinator to support export logistics and accounting/administrative functions at our Balgonie facility.
Core Responsibilities
Export Documentation & Compliance
Prepare export documents (bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of origin).
Ensure compliance with trade, customs, and carrier requirements.
Maintain accurate records for audits.
Shipment & Transport Coordination
Arrange and monitor truck, rail, and ocean shipments.
Schedule container pickups, book freight, and coordinate loading times.
Shipment Tracking & Reporting
Track shipments from origin to destination and update teams and customers.
Monitor timelines to meet contract and delivery requirements.
Problem Resolution
Address delays, documentation errors, and shipment discrepancies.
Manage freight claims and coordinate corrective actions.
Communication & Cross-Functional Support
Act as primary contact for carriers, forwarders, customers, and brokers.
Communicate with internal merchandising, logistics, and accounting teams.
Accounting Support
Process vendor invoices, receipts, and payments.
Manage accounts payable/receivable.
Perform bank reconciliations and verify documentation.
Assist with monthly/annual financial statements and audits.
Administrative & Office Support
Maintain organized filing systems.
Manage general office expenditures.
Data Management
Enter and verify financial and administrative data.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
