Yard Attendant job description includes but is not limited to:
loading and unloading materials, operating heavy equipment like forklift, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of an outdoor storage area. Responsibilities also involve performing routine equipment maintenance, tracking inventory, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

Key responsibilities

    Material handling: Loading and unloading materials from trucks and other vehicles.
    Equipment operation: Safely operating equipment such as forklift, tractors, and loaders to move materials and products.
    Yard maintenance: Keeping the yard clean, organized, and safe by performing general upkeep and housekeeping duties.
    Inventory management: Assisting with the tracking of materials, logging goods, and checking stock levels.
    Safety and compliance: Following all safety protocols, performing routine safety checks on equipment, and reporting any malfunctions or hazards.
    Collaboration: Working with supervisors, team members, drivers, and warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
