Job Description: The Spiritual Care Practitioner are responsible to provide emotional support to patients and families with particular attention to the patients and families spiritual, cultural and existential concerns. In addition, the Spiritual Care Practitioner may support the patient in medical decision making; provide or arrange for appropriate rites of passage or ceremonies; act as a liaison between medical staff and family; and as required in a given institution, provide religious services to meet the needs of patients. In addition, the Spiritual Care Practitioner may provide spiritual support to staff who request it.

Education
- Master of Divinity (Mdiv)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Completion of a minimum of two units of Clinical Pastoral Care/CPE
- Post-graduate training at a Masters level (Master of Divinity or equivalent)
Knowledge and Abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication/listening and relationship management skills
- Demonstrates leadership abilities
