Bookkeeping & Transaction Processing
Accounts Payable: Process, verify, and reconcile invoices; manage vendor files; ensure timely payments.
Accounts Receivable: Issue invoices, monitor balances, and perform collections.
Payroll: Calculate wages, deductions, and submit taxes/filings.
Data Entry: Record transactions accurately in accounting software.
Reconciliation: Regular bank and credit card reconciliations.
Accounting & Reporting
Month-End Close: Prepare journal entries and accruals.
Financial Statements: Generate Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow reports.
General Ledger: Maintain and review entries for accuracy.
Budgeting: Assist with annual budget preparation and monitoring.
Fixed Assets: Track depreciation and reconcile schedules.
Financial Control & Compliance
Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and minimize risk.
Improve processes for efficiency and stronger controls.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulations.
Identify risks and document policies for a robust control environment.
Qualifications
Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
years in accounting/bookkeeping.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Strong GAAP knowledge and attention to detail.
