Were hiring a **Part-Time Evening and Weekend Newcomer Family Support Worker** to provide essential support to newcomer families during non-business hours. This role focuses on crisis intervention, emotional support, and connecting families to community resources, ensuring they have access to help when needed most.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide evening and weekend support for newcomer families facing social, emotional, and practical challenges.
- Respond to crises promptly, offering de-escalation and immediate support.
- Offer referrals to community services like housing, healthcare, mental health support, and legal aid.
- Assist families with settlement processes, including resource access and understanding.
- Conduct intake assessments and maintain accurate client records.
- Collaborate with team members for a coordinated response to family needs.
- Stay updated on community resources and the challenges faced by newcomer populations.

**Qualifications:**
- 1-2 years of experience in social services, crisis intervention, or similar fields, ideally with immigrant or refugee populations.
- Relevant post-secondary education (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Human Services) or equivalent experience.
- Strong crisis management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Culturally sensitive approach and ability to handle confidential information.
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts.
