Suncrest College welcomes applications for the position of Facilitator, Skills for Success. This is a Part-Time, Term position (total contract: 52.5 hours) for the term of January 8, 2026 to January 20, 2026, in James Smith, SK.
The Opportunity:
Under the supervision of the Coordinator, Community and Employment Programs this position is primarily responsible for developing, coordinating, delivering and facilitating the classroom component of various programs. The program goal is to help build workforce skills within participants.
Requirements:
- Two-year post-secondary diploma or equivalent in Human or Social Services or Behavioral Sciences field or a journeyperson trade certificate.
- Two years demonstrated experience providing leaners with the skills required to provide career information, to effectively liaise with employers or funding agencies and to develop needs-based approaches to workshop development and delivery within Essential Skills programming.
- Demonstrated experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
- Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
