The Executive Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Chambers operations, membership services, communications, and events. The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the CEO, Board of Directors, and committees.
Assist with membership development, onboarding, renewals, and member communications.
Assist with the coordination of Chamber events, including planning, registration, logistics, and on-site execution.
Create and manage content for digital communications, newsletters, website updates, and social media platforms.
Develop promotional materials and marketing content using basic design tools.
Maintain accurate databases, records, and filing systems.
Greet visitors in person and by phone, respond to inquiries, and serve as a primary point of contact for members and the public.
Perform general office duties including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation.
Support additional projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Experience with bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online is a strong asset.
Excellent verbal communication and customer service abilities.
Proficiency with major social media platforms.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Valid drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle for business purposes when required.
Experience in marketing, communications, administration, or event coordination is considered an asset.
The successful candidate must be bondable and able to provide a clear current Criminal Record Check
