Description

Flying Dust First Nation Education is dedicated to fostering innovative, research-informed, and culturally responsive educational programming. We are committed to empowering our students, families, and community through high-quality learning opportunities. We are seeking a motivated and visionary Education Strategic Planner to join our team for a 1-year term and support the growth and sustainability of our education system.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
    Collect and analyze both qualitative (student, staff, parent, and community voice) and quantitative (academic, attendance, and transition outcomes) data on Flying Dust students transitioning to Carpenter High School.
    Develop a sustainable, uniform data collection tool that both FDFN and NWSD can continue using long-term.
    Implement a monitoring and evaluation framework covering pre-transition, transition, and post-transition phases.
    Prepare monthly or quarterly reports for Education manager, community stakeholders, and funding partners.
    Organize and lead community engagement sessions, ensuring that parent, student, elder, and teacher voices guide planning.
    A degree in Education, Public Administration, Planning, or a related field
    Experience in strategic planning, program evaluation, or education project management.
    Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
