McArthur River - McArthur River, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the worlds largest high-grade uranium mine. Position and Responsibilities
-Responsible for servicing underground heavy equipment as specified by preventative maintenance work orders.
-Perform preventative maintenance inspections, lubrications as well as troubleshoot equipment failures, complete overhauls and conduct repair work as required.
Requirements of the position:
-valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson heavy duty equipment mechanic certificate or, agricultural mechanic certificate;
-five years of related underground or surface experience with mobile heavy equipment maintenance;
-ability to utilize original equipment manufacturer (OEM) diagnostic software;
-team player with good communication skills;
-excellent safety record; and
-work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Assets:
-reliability or predictive maintenance experience; and
-familiarity with computerized maintenance tracking using SAP.
