We are seeking a compassionate, respectful, and empathetic Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) to join our team at Regina Correctional Centre/Whitebirch Remand Unit. The ideal candidate is a positive role model with strong communication and interpersonal skills, committed to teamwork and patient advocacy.

You will provide direct medical care and treatment, maintain accurate records, promote preventative health measures, respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies, and assess conditions for appropriate referrals. Knowledge of medical and psychiatric theories, intervention strategies, drug/alcohol withdrawal indicators, communicable diseases, public health issues, and multicultural perspectives is essential.

Candidates must be actively registered (or eligible) with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan. The position requires honesty, reliability, professionalism, and the ability to embrace diversity and equality. Shift work, including evenings and weekends, is required.
