Chief Executive Officer
(1)    Full Time Permanent Position
BATC Administration Office

The Position: This position reports to the Tribal Chief, provides formal reports and receives directions from BATC Chiefs. The Chief Executive Officer is the most senior position overseeing the program and service delivery aspects of the organization while ensuring compliance with agreements, policies, standards and direction of the BATC and the community development corporation. Under the general direction of the BATC Chiefs, this position plans, directs, and monitors the programs and service delivery of the BATC. The position leads the work team in meeting organizational objectives and goals.

   Duties and Responsibilities:

   Organizational Development
    To coordinate an orderly preparation of departmental work plans to facilitate the BATC Implementation Plan and accommodate various reporting tool requirements
    Direct Senior management on work plans process and consolidation of BATC Implementation Plan.

Human Resources
    Participate in interviews pertaining to senior management positions.
    Ensure BATC and its Entities comply with BATC Personnel Regulations.
    Provide monthly staff updates, out of province requests to Executive Council
    Supervise Senior Staff, conduct disciplinary measures and interpret policy as required.

Communications
    Key monthly meetings that are categorized as priority:
    Facilitate monthly Senior Management meetings which include BATC and its Entities.
    Monthly report to Executive Council and follow up.
    Participate in Senior management meetings.
