Duties include:
- Pleasantly greet all customers (in person and on telephone) and assist them with appointments and/or quotes
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document issues with tires or vehicle
- Provide recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance
- Order required parts/tires for repair or replacement
- Provide thorough estimates and ensure customer approves the estimate before proceeding with work.
- Effectively communicate with the technicians in writing and verbally
- Process payments and receipt accordingly through the computer system
- Other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen carefully to customers and be able to problem solve
- Good computer skills and accurate keyboarding of data
- Functions well in a fast-paced work environment
- Accountability and dependability
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle payment transactions accurately
- Tire and mechanical knowledge is an asset
