Provides direction and advice to support inclusive municipal policies, strategies and programs for equity-deserving populations, including people with disabilities, youth, seniors, newcomers, older adults, Indigenous people, 2SLGBTQ+/gender and sexually diverse communities, those who are unhoused and/or food insecure, and others facing barriers to access.
-Identifies community needs related to targeted populations and facilitates the planning and delivery of pro social and inclusive community services to meet those needs.
-Facilitates public consultation and analysis of issues and trends related to community safety and wellbeing,
-Participates and assists in the development of the Citys role in long and short-term plans and policies that promote a strong social infrastructure for targeted populations in Regina.
