Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full-Time Sales Agronomist at our Agro location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, agribusiness partners, and industry stakeholders.
Conduct field scouting to diagnose crop issues (weeds, pests, disease, nutrient deficiencies).
Provide tailored agronomic recommendations based on soil tests, crop conditions, and farm goals.
Promote and sell seed, fertilizer, pesticides, and related agronomic products.
Support growers with product selection, application timing, and best management practices.
Deliver product information through field days, demonstrations, and agronomy meetings.
Collaborate with suppliers, product representatives, and internal sales teams.
Stay updated on new technologies, crop trends, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain records of field observations, sales activity, and customer interactions.
Meet sales targets and contribute to business growth.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.
You hold a degree or diploma in Agriculture and are eligible for membership with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists.
You hold a Certified Crop Advisor or Professional Agrologist designation or willing to obtain.
You carry a valid class 5 drivers license and are wiling to travel within assigned territory.
