Description

The Property Maintenance Supervisor provides direction to full and part time staff comprising of Caretakers and Field Services Support Technicians.

The Property Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the administration of Precoro and Maintenance Care application software.

Provide direction and supervision to their staff, including recruitment, employee performance reviews, orientation, and development in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager.
In collaboration with the Maintenance Manager, coordinate the effective and efficient delivery of the annual work plan and monitor the operational standards of cleanliness, upkeep and maintenance of the properties while maintaining good tenant relations.
Coordinate the effective and efficient use of all tools, equipment, inventory, and unit records.
Coordinate, schedule, and track employee leaves of absence according to SHA policies.
Provide leadership in ensuring that the workplace is safe and healthy.
Provide guidance, training, and support to all staff that are required to use Precoro and Maintenance Care software.
In collaboration with the Maintenance Manager, develop policies, procedures, and ensure that accountability measures are in place for staff that are required to use Procuro and Maintenance Care software.
Remain current with respect to technical developments and advancements in equipment, materials, practice, regulatory codes, and supplies.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

A certificate, Grade 12 or equivalent;
Completion of a Working in a property maintenance management setting for 5 years.
Possession of a valid drivers license, ownership of a roadworthy vehicle and additional minimum vehicle liability insurance.
Provide a criminal record with vulnerability check.
