The Skills Training Branch is seeking a driven, creative Senior Program Analyst for a 9-month term in Regina. This role shapes Saskatchewans labour market by leading strategic policies and programs that strengthen skills development and apprenticeship pathways.

We are looking for a proactive professional knowledgeable about Saskatchewans labour market trends, including northern, urban, rural, and Indigenous contexts. You should be skilled in policy and program evaluation, able to analyze trends, assess impacts, and recommend evidence-based solutions. Strong communication skills are essential to present complex financial, statistical, and regulatory matters clearly. The ideal candidate is collaborative and influential, able to build relationships and work across organizations to achieve shared goals, and strategic and adaptive in a fast-changing environment.

Typically, the required knowledge and experience are obtained through a graduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities include conducting research and financial analysis to shape apprenticeship and training policies, collaborating with industry and post-secondary partners, leading cross-functional teams, and providing strategic advice to senior leadership.
