Hours of Work: 30 weekworking 1p - 9p - on a rotational schedule - including two weekends monthly

YWCA Regina is seeking applications for a Full Time 1p-9p Diversion Outreach Coordinator Team Member in the Womens Housing Department. Under the direct supervision of the Outreach Manager and the general supervision of the Director of Outreach & Diversion and Senior Director of Womens Housing, the Diversion Outreach Coordinator will respond to crisis and provide support from a trauma-informed, harm reduction and client-centered approach to women and families with complex barriers while working in collaboration with all YWCA Regina Womens Housing teams in meeting the needs for housing, food security, and safety.

Administrative Duties

Qualifications:
Experience working with Indigenous communities and cultures
Demonstrated experience working with the complex needs of people experiencing homelessness
Knowledge of the Child Welfare system, Trauma Informed Care, and Family Violence would be an asset
Knowledge about mental health issues and substance use disorder and how to respond to them (Naloxone training is an asset)
Ability to work independently and with a team
Accurate record keeping ability and basic computer skills (knowledge of HIFIS would be an asset)
Good communication and organizational abilities
Crisis intervention skills
Awareness of colonization and the intergenerational impacts it has had on women and families
Respect for women and children of various backgrounds.
