Description

Duties

*Lead and manage daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the business.
*Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity and profitability.
*Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.
*Monitor performance metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
*Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and community partners.
*Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and career growth.
*Keep track of inventory, order and shipment
Billing and invoices
*Own tools
*Maintains and repairs vehicles and equipment and utilizes a variety of hand and power tools and equipment
*Performs overhaul, engine/ transmission replacement timing belt/chain replacement.
*Diagnoses and effects repairs of transmissions, clutches, front/rear axles, differentials, brake systems, drive lines, etc.
Performs inspections and safety checks

Experience

*Licensed Automotive Service Technician (Red Seal Trade/ Journeyman)
5+ years of experience as an automotive technician (management experience an asset)
*Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
*Proven experience in a managerial role within the industry is preferred.
*Strong understanding of business operations
*Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
*Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
