Description

SaskBuilds and Procurement brings together infrastructure, procurement, real property, facility management, logistics, and IT to enable the Government of Saskatchewans Growth Plan and deliver programs and services for citizens and communities.

The Ministry has a permanent full-time opportunity for a Facility Service Worker in Saskatoon. Under the direction of the Building Operator, you will provide day-to-day building maintenance and groundskeeping, assist with various repairs, ensure life safety equipment is operational, perform client requests, and maintain records in the maintenance management system. You will operate manual and powered grounds equipment and must be able to climb ladders and lift heavy objects.

To be successful, you will have working-level knowledge of building maintenance and operations, be physically able to perform manual activities (including lifting up to 50 lbs. and climbing ladders), and hold a valid drivers licence. A Fireman Boiler Operator Certificate is required or must be obtained within the probationary period (12 months).
