AIDS Programs South Saskatchewan Inc. is currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Executive Director with a minimum of 6+ years of demonstrated experience in grant writing, fundraising, harm reduction and research specifically related to Sexually Transmitted and Blood Borne Infections (STBBI) and Overdose Prevention.
Reporting directly to the volunteer Board of Directors, the Executive Director will provide insightful and strategic management and administration to the organization while continuing to foster our tradition of community stewardship. As the successful candidate you will ensure effective daily operations of the organization, oversee all areas of human resource management, maintain and foster strong relationships with partners and funding agencies and organizations, ensure responsible oversight of the Needle Exchange Program, develop and implement a comprehensive plan for empowering agency volunteers, monitor education/outreach programs and client services and ensure accurate reporting, stable revenue and fiscally prudent budgeting and work with our Board on short and long term strategic planning.
The successful candidate will have post secondary education in the areas of health, social work, or a related combination of education and experience. You must have proven success in fund development, program management, and administration coupled with highly effective communication skills, strong organization capability, research experience, and excellent leadership ability.
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
