Description

A2SKI is seeking skilled Labourers for temporary term positions located in Northern Saskatchewan. The role may include outdoors labour work, warehouse work, general carpentry and scaffolding, and operating machinery. The work schedule for the positions runs 14 days on, 14 days off rotation, with meals and lodging provided during work shifts.

Main Responsibilities:
Carry out basic construction, maintenance, or labor-related tasks.
Understand and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout and materials required.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, levels, and other carpentry-related equipment.
Perform general carpentry tasks in support of the construction project
Operating a forklift and other equipment.
Load and unload materials and equipment.
Assist with general site preparation and cleanup.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
    Work closely with supervisors and other workers to complete tasks on time.
Assist with general site preparation and cleanup.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a labour-intensive role is required
Valid Drivers Licence
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks which may include lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
2-3 years of carpentry experience is preferred
Certification and 2-3 years experience operating a forklift and loader is preferred
Ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a construction/warehouse setting is an asset
Drug and Alcohol Testing
