Join our team and play a critical role in keeping our fleet and plant operations running smoothly.

Duties

Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related components
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles
Use Biomed'ss fleet maintenance software to track all repairs and service records
Procure and maintain inventory of parts and tools
Assist with maintenance and repair of plant equipment (wash stations, processing equipment, boilers, forklifts, tractors, etc.)
Respond promptly to work orders for non-functioning machinery or equipment
Perform occasional general maintenance tasks (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, snow removal)
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Qualifications

Journeyman Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic certification preferred
Valid Class 5 driverss license (Class 1 or 3 an asset)
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Dependable and detail-oriented
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Experience with computerized maintenance systems is an asset
