Description

The Program Assistant will be responsible for the delivery of activities within the social, recreation, wellness and tour programs and supporting adults who are living with lifelong mental illness.  

Primary responsibility is leading social, recreational and wellness activities during evenings and weekends, transporting participants to and from events.

Participates in administrative work associated with the role (registrations, attendance, incidents, fees, supplies). Maintain vehicles used and complete required documentation.

Support organizational functions and events where applicable.

Qualifications & Requirements
Grade 12 diploma, Microsoft Office (Intermediate).
Valid Class 5 drivers license with a satisfactory drivers abstract.
Satisfactory criminal record & vulnerable sector check.

Beneficial Factors:
First Aid/CPR, Safe Food Handling, Mental Health First Aid.

Must be a permanent resident of Canada and reside in the Battlefords.
