Job Description  Social Worker (Contract Position)
The Social Worker will support a 20-week program by co-facilitating weekly group sessions and providing direct support to participants. The contractor will work collaboratively with one other Worker; this is not a split or separate caseload role. The position requires strong group facilitation skills, assessment abilities, professional communication.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Co-facilitate 3-hour weekly sessions using trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches. Hours are flexible

Support participant engagement, encourage skill development, and ensure a safe group environment.

Provide short-term supportive counseling within professional boundaries.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Complete session notes, attendance records, and all required paperwork by deadlines.

Collaborate with the second contractor to plan sessions, share observations, and ensure continuity.

Communicate concerns to the program coordinator and participate in brief planning or debrief meetings.
