Doepker Industries is a leading Canadian manufacturer of highway semi-trailers. We are continually developing new and innovative designs for our customers across Canada and have won awards and been recognized for business excellence and innovation since 1948.

We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Manufacturing Manager to join our team at our Saskatoon location.

WHAT YOULL DO
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the purpose of the Manufacturing Manager is to lead the Saskatoon operations team of welders, painters, finishers and support staff in achieving production targets safely, efficiently and up to customer expectations.

Key accountabilities include:
Instilling Doepkers mission, vision and values within the operations team
Developing a safety-conscious mindset within the operations team
Increasing leadership skills and building leadership capacity throughout the operations team
Ensuring continuous improvement initiatives are taking place
Achieving scheduled manufacturing times
Efficiencies and standardized processes are maintained across all plants

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Bachelors degree or college diploma in Business Administration or Commerce, or equivalent combination or education and experience
Experience directly working within a manufacturing facility
Proven experience building, developing and leading teams
Project management skills with strong organization abilities
Strong communication skills
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is an asset
Experience or training in Lean Manufacturing is an asset
