Description

Doepker Industries is a leading Canadian manufacturer of highway semi-trailers. We are continually developing new and innovative designs for our customers across Canada and have won awards and been recognized for business excellence and innovation since 1948.
We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Saskatoon location. Our shifts are from 6 a.m.  2:30 p.m.
WHAT YOULL DO
Reporting to the Manufacturing Coordinator, the purpose of the Maintenance Technician is to recognize and identify any building and equipment problems and ensure repairs are completed. Must be able to perform all duties effectively and efficiently that are required of the Preventative Maintenance Program, according to Doepker procedures.
Key accountabilities include:
Performing all maintenance duties according to the established procedures
Effectively communicating to all departments affected by building or equipment breakdown or maintenance to ensure the least amount of interruption
Independently managing the work schedule and prioritizing assigned tasks
Assisting in special projects as requested.
Share your ideas to contribute to process improvements
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Grade 10
Training in Electrical, Carpentry, Welding, Plumbing and Heating, Electronics, etc would be an asset
Willing to attend other courses as they become available
Successfully complete the following training: Imperial and Metric Measurement, WHMIS training, Fall Protection Harness Training, Lift Truck Training and Overhead Crane Safety program.
