SoilRocks Consulting Inc. is growing, and we are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team in Regina, Saskatchewan as Drill Rig Operators/Technicians.
If you enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions, are mechanically inclined, and do not shy away from physical work, this could be the opportunity for you.
What We Are Looking For
Willingness to work outdoors year-round across Saskatchewan.
Mechanically inclined and able to lift heavy loads.
A good driving record and valid Canadian driver license (Class 1 or G-Endorsement).
Willingness to travel frequently for out-of-town projects.
Training & Certifications (Assets)
Having any of the following certifications is an asset:
SCOT (including WHMIS 2015), Standard First Aid/CPR, Ground Disturbance I and II, H2S Alive, Hearing Protection, Respiratory Protection, General Mine Safety Awareness, G-Endorsement, or Class 1 License.
Experience in any of the following industries will also be considered an asset:
Drilling, hydraulics, electrical, highway or civil construction, building construction, mining, military, or farming.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a safe work environment, upholding SoilRocks Safety First culture.
Professionally represent SoilRocks when interacting with clients and site teams.
Identify and mitigate on-site hazards before starting work.
Operate geotechnical and environmental drill rigs safely and efficiently.
Supervise and support the drilling helper, vehicle, and tools.
Ensure proper maintenance of rig, vehicles, and equipment.
Perform field investigations as directed by project engineers or geologists.
Keep drill sites organized, clean, and well-maintained.
Communicate daily with your supervisor and team.
