Graphic Designer  Sign Shop Experience Required (Full-Time)
Location: Prince Albert, SK
Company: MarkIt Signs Ltd.
MarkIt Signs is a busy, creative, family-run sign shop specializing in vehicle wraps, storefront signage, large-format printing, decals, and custom apparel. Were looking for a skilled Graphic Designer with previous sign shop experience to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who understands production file setup, works confidently in CorelDRAW, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What Youll Do
Design & Layout
Design signs, decals, banners, vehicle graphics, and apparel
Prepare print-ready files for large-format printers and vinyl cutters
Work daily in CorelDRAW (required)
Create customer proofs, mock-ups, and revisions
Production Support
Help with printing, laminating, weeding, trimming, and job prep
Ensure files match production specs and shop workflows
Maintain accurate job details and meet deadlines
Customer Interaction
Communicate with clients about artwork, materials, and branding
Gather information for approvals
Work with production and install teams to keep jobs moving
What Were Looking For
12+ years experience in a sign shop (required)
Strong CorelDRAW skills
Knowledge of substrates, vinyl, bleeds, outlines, layers, and production setup
Strong layout, branding, and typography skills
Organized, reliable, detail-focused
Good communication and customer-service skills
Vehicle wrap design experience is an asset
