Are you a student looking for meaningful work experience this summer? The City of Swift Current is now accepting applications for full-time Summer Student positions running from May to August 2026.

- Parks and Cemeteries
- Chinook Golf Course
- Airport
- Fairview Pool - Lifeguards
- Museum (grant funded)
- Art Gallery (grant funded)
- Information Technology
- Finance
- Recreation: Summer Program Coordinator
- Recreation: Families in the Park Coordinator
- Recreation: The Zone Youth Centre Program
- Recreation: Parks Play Leaders
- Recreation: Multi-Sport Leaders

Required Qualifications:
- Available to work 3540 hours/week from May 4 to August 31, 2026 (some roles may include evenings/weekends).
- Either a high school student who has completed the most recent semester of high school or a student who has completed three or more post-secondary courses in the most recent semester, or a student who has been accepted to attend a post-secondary program in the fall, or a student who is on the waiting list to attend a post-secondary program in the fall.
- Physically able to meet the demands of the positions applied for.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
- Completion of Respect Group Training and a satisfactory Criminal Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Check (required upon hire).
- A valid Class 5 driver's license.

The student positions at the Museum and Art Gallery are dependent on grant funding and will remain open until filled by candidates who meet the guidelines defined by the funding partner.
