Primary Purpose of the Position
The Research Assistant (RA) supports the development of high-quality training materials and organizational research. This includes editing and formatting documents, supporting video and audio production, conducting data entry and analysis, and assisting with quality control of training materials. The RA will work closely with and report to the Training Development Coordinator.
Nature of Work
As part of the SFNWA team, the RA helps build positive professional relationships and collaborates with First Nations communities, Tribal Councils, and partners across government, industry, and the non-profit sector.

Proficiency with technology (computers, software, audio/video devices)

An understanding or appreciation of First Nations cultures, perspectives, and ways of knowing
Education and Experience Requirements
Undergraduate degree
Experience creating and editing documents and slide shows
Experience with video and/or audio editing software
Valid drivers license and current automobile insurance
