Description

Evergreen Golf Course, located in Nipawin, Saskatchewan, borders the scenic Provincial Forest in Northeast Saskatchewan. This 18-hole championship course is renowned for its challenging layout, pristine greens, and picturesque fairways framed by lush forest. Highlights include a signature long par-5 opening hole, diverse natural elements, and excellent practice facilities. Known for exceptional maintenance, balanced playability, and outstanding value, Evergreen offers an unforgettable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The course operates April through mid-October and is overseen by a dedicated Board of Directors as part of the Nipawin & District Regional Park.

Position: Golf & Pro Shop Manager

Reporting to the Board, this role manages daily Pro Shop operations, including retail sales, lessons, tee time scheduling, and tournament coordination. Responsibilities include:

Oversee Pro Shop, member services, driving range, and golf activities
Maintain course reputation and professional image
Recruit and onboard Pro Shop and Back Shop staff
Plan and coordinate events, leagues, and instructional programs
Collaborate with Golf Superintendent for smooth operations
Source and manage merchandise
Assist with budgeting, reporting, and financial coordination
Manage social media promotion
Enforce course policies

Qualifications:

Strong customer service focus
Leadership and management experience
Golf course management experience an asset
PGA of Canada designation preferred
Excellent communication skills
Team-oriented, tech-savvy (Microsoft Office, Tee-On, Golf Genius)
Familiarity with social media and marketing

Perks & Benefits:
Salary $55K$90K (commensurate with experience), bi-weekly year-round pay, CPGA dues covered, flexible scheduling, complimentary play, merchandise and cell phone allowance, professional development, tournament entry fees, and expense allowances for buying shows.
