Job Description: Compensation and Classification is part of the Workforce Planning & Employment Strategies Community of Expertise (CoE) in part of an overall Partnership Model created to provide superior strategic cross-functional advice, analysis, support, decision making and resolution on a range of compensation and classification related matters. A centralized compensation service provides a consistent approach to the management and administration of Health Authority job evaluation and classification plans for a wide range of employees in various bargaining units including out-of-scope, in an environment of constant change, with vast movement of staff across the province and throughout the Health Authority and its affiliates. This department contributes significantly to the organization by supporting compensation related functions in relation to compensation, performance management merit increases (OOS), appeals, OOS Terms and Conditions, and compression.
