Reporting to the MFN Health Director, the full-time Patient Transportation Clerk primary duties are to help assist Muskoday First Nation clients with medical appointments. The Transportation Clerk will need to respectful, high confidentiality, strong organization skills, and effective communication both written and oral and meet report deadlines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must adhere to confidentiality code.
Provide reception, registration, and clerical services.
Register clients, update profile information, maintains schedules, and follows procedures for clients and provide instruction when necessary.
Education and Experience:
Certificate in a relevant area would be an asset.
Minimum of grade 12.
Must have Office Computer Program experience with Microsoft office programs (excel, word), teams, calendars, and email.
Coordinate patient transportation for clients residing on Muskoday First Nation that require medical rides to appointments off the reserve.
Address the medical needs through the Non-Insured Health Benefits Program with First Nation Inuit Health Branch.
Requirements:
Must provide a current, original, Canadian Criminal Record Check (CPIC) and Vulnerable Sector Check as a condition of employment.
Must possess a valid Saskatchewan. driver's license, a reliable vehicle and meet MFN?s insurance requirements.
Must provide a three-year driver's abstract as a condition of employment.
The successful candidate will be required to produce clear and current Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector check as a condition of employment.
Valid First Aid Certificate (CPR-C), Food Safe (asset)
ECE Level 1, 2, or 3 an asset
Plan and present lessons based on Early Learning Education requirements with the needs and interests of each child.
