Position Summary
The City of Regina is seeking an Entomology Research Analyst to join our Parks & Open Space Services team. In this role, youll lead field and laboratory research, monitor insect pests and vector diseases, and provide data-driven recommendations to protect and enhance Reginas urban forest. Your expertise will guide integrated pest management strategies, improve resident services, and support the health and sustainability of our citys green spaces.
What You Bring
A university degree in Biological Sciences.
At least 2 years of entomology and vector disease experience in urban forest management.
Strong knowledge of insect identification, pest control, and ecological fieldwork.
Experience with GIS, data analysis, and scientific research methods.
Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence and Pesticide Applicator Licences (Landscape, Mosquito & Biting Fly, Structural).
Ability to lead teams, manage large datasets, and work outdoors in varying conditions.
