Based out of Saskatoon or Regina the Manager, Simulation Centres, Faculty of Nursing, Health Sciences and Community Services, is accountable to the Director, Centre for Health Research, Innovation and Scholarship (CHRIS).
This role is responsible for leading and integrating high-quality simulation learning experiences and skills training into nursing and health sciences programs at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. By fostering effective relationships across the leadership team, faculty, staff and external partners, the Manager will ensure that the services provided meet the evolving needs of students, industry partners, the Ministry, and the broader community.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Daily oversight, and allocation of operational resources across multiple campus locations (Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Regina). Semi-regular travel to all campus locations is required.
2. Effective management of direct reports including 2 Program Heads and 40+ staff over three locations.
3. Strategic planning, development, and execution of operating budgets, capital plans, and revenue generation strategies.
4. Leading ongoing projects to maximize technology and innovation resources within the faculty.
