Description

GFL Environmental is hiring a Driver/Vacuum Truck Operator for our Regina location, based at 2B Industrial Dr, Emerald Park, SK.

The Vacuum Truck Operator will work with the Vacuum Truck Services team to provide exceptional service to our clients. Services provided include hydro excavating, confined space entry, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling, and loading and hauling of various fluids/ material. The chosen individual will perform this diverse range of activities with a focus on safety, professionalism, and teamwork.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Operate vacuum equipment safely in an industrial setting.
Provide exceptional service to all clients and professionally represent GFL.
Complete daily equipment pre-trips and driver logs required for NSC compliance.
Maintain detailed and accurate company documentation to accompany work performed.
Participate in safety programs such as job hazard assessments.

Requirements
Valid Class 3A or 1A Commercial Driver's License and a Clean Commercial Drivers Abstract and Claims History
Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
Industrial vacuum truck and/or hydro-excavating experience is preferred but not required.
Experience working with High Pressure Water Blasting Equipment is an asset
Valid safety tickets such as First Aid/CPR, Construction Safety Training (CSTS), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and H2S Alive are considered an asset.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Safety-focused attitude with experience working in an industrial setting.
Must be in good health and physical condition to perform physical duties assigned.

This is a safety sensitive position. Offers of employment are conditional upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
