Description

Southeast College is currently recruiting a Welding Instructor to join our team in Estevan.

If you are passionate about welding trade, communicate effectively, and are committed to helping learners succeed, we would love to hear from you.
As a member of the College faculty, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality instruction and supporting student development. You will use established instructional materials, follow program curriculum, and contribute to a positive learning environment that reflects the standards of Southeast College.

Key Responsibilities
Instruct both practical and theoretical components of the Welding program.
Support student learning, engagement, and success through effective teaching strategies.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed shop and classroom environment.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Contribute to program planning and continuous improvement activities as required.

Qualifications
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Interprovincial Journeyperson Certificate in the relevant trade, including any additional required program certifications.
Minimum two (2) years of recent and relevant post-journeyperson industry experience.
Effective instructional skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Effective communication skills.
Proficiency with internet, email, and MS Office Suite, with the ability to learn new technology.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a changing environment.
Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity.
