Position Summary: The Speech Language PathologistMaster is responsible for assessing and treating pediatric patients in assigned service areas, maintaining accurate patient documentation, and participating in program planning required and providing clinical supervision of assistants and speech language pathology students. The Speech Language PathologistMaster reports directly to Senior Speech Language Pathologist and Pediatric Interprofessional Practice & Hearing Health Manager.

Position Duties: Under the direction of the Senior Speech Language Pathologist, the Speech Language Pathologist:
- Plans and organizes activities of the position, which include:
- Developing and evaluating treatment programs;

- Establishing service priorities and managing waiting lists;

- Coordinating programs of this service with those of other services, departments, or agencies;

- Developing and updating service manuals (orientation, student manuals, etc.)

- Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with patients, families, inter-professional teams, other services and department leadership.

- Promoting a positive morale and teamwork.
