The Ministry of Highways is looking for a highly motivated individual with superb interpersonal and leadership skills to lead the Project Management Support unit within the Project Support Office. The successful candidate will join the Design and Construction Division management team, serving a wide range of stakeholders including ministry staff, executives, branches, contractors, and consultants. Reporting to the Executive Director of the Project Support Office, this role is central to developing and managing practices and processes for delivering the ministrys capital program, program and project management policies and standards, managing and presenting KPI data, and guiding best value procurement practices. The Manager of Project Management Support will assess organizational and personnel impacts arising from evolving processes and functions.
They are seeking a candidate with a degree in engineering from an accredited university and eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGS. The candidate will supervise several Professional Engineers and provide leadership and direction in support of bridge and roadway design and construction projects.
