The Ministry is seeking dynamic Child Protection Workers willing to work in Northern Saskatchewan on a flexible rotation, using a Drive In/Drive Out model in the Creighton/Sandy Bay area over a fourweek cycle. Candidates will work 11hour days, Monday through Saturday, with scheduled time off and potential evening Emergency Duty shifts. Travel time may be compensated and staff housing is available. Applicants must hold a valid Saskatchewan drivers license to travel within and beyond the region and transport children or parents as needed. The successful candidates will deliver protective, preventative, and support services to children and families using the Family Centered Case Management Model. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Indian Social Work, or equivalent accredited degree recognized by the Canadian Association of Social Workers. Indigenous candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, though all qualified applicants will be considered. Applicants must clearly demonstrate their relevant knowledge, skills, and experience in their cover letter or resume; only those selected for an interview will be contacted. This competition creates an eligibility list valid for six months to staff current and future vacancies. Key qualifications include strong interpersonal skills, cultural competence, ability to work flexibly (evenings/weekends), and the capacity to transport clients safely. A social work degree ensures foundation in assessment, intervention, and client advocacy.
