Description

Key Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC, a member of the Key Auto Group, is seeking an exceptional multi-tasker to fill the role of full-time Express Service Advisor and Technician. This dynamic role requires flexibility to transition between performing traditional Service Advisor duties and hands-on automotive service work.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Customer Service
-Work Order Preparation
-Routine vehicle maintenance (i.e., oil changes, tire rotations)
-Assisting with shop cleanup
-Completing GM-recommended walkarounds on every customer vehicle
-Adhering to all safety rules
-Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
-Valid Class 5 Driver's license must be maintained throughout employment
-Strong mechanical aptitude and interest
-Experience in the automotive industry is an asset
-Excellent listening and communication skills
-Effective time management skills
-Knowledge of working with a range of tools and equipment
-Computer and data entry proficiency
-Visually perceptive with strong manual dexterity
-Ability to work independently
-Ability to explain technical automotive concepts in clear, customer-friendly language

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
The Express Service Advisor and Technician is expected to meet key performance indicators related to customer service, efficiency, training compliance and workplace safety. Following safety rules, providing a crimal record check and maintaining a valid driver's license are conditions of employment.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work requires standing on concrete surfaces for extended periods and lifting items up to 50 lbs.
